Books
The time read 10.08 AM. I just took a bath and am decided to post something again on my blog. I hope it will be fun, maybe dramatic (like what I used to) and I am trying to be not so mysterious (if I did) this time. Honestly, I thought of start blogging again since few times ago, but yeah, it always postponed until the next available time. I didn’t say that I didn’t treat my blog seriously. It just they are another things that have higher priority than this. For example? Make a Christmas card for someone, write a story for a movie for my church, and not to forget that I have not draw nor write any poem for a quite long time.
So, let's start with a simple thing. Why blogging? After writing on this blog for a year or two, I realized that blogging is a manifestation of self-indulgence. Simply, it can be explained this way: in your opinion, there are areas in your life (no matter good or bad, happy or sad) that make you really attracted with them in a way or another and this experience later brought you a better idea of something that enriching yourself (and sometimes you want to share it with someone, but this is not always the case). That's what make me think blogging is fun!
Concerning the situation, you know, I didn’t eat anything since I woke up and I became so hungry but the hawker centre near my house is not open yet until lunch time... (And I just realized that there is a Pringles can stand right beside my laptop). So I think I will continue typing this post for a moment. Yesterday, I went to school and national library to return overdue books. It already late for more than a week because I was sick last week and quite busy with some stuffs. All those stuffs later cost me another $3.00 after some sleepless night and flu. After that I went to Basheer at Bras Basah to see whether there was interesting book to collect and I found a book about Joe Sorren’s painting collection. I don’t know who he/she is. I just checked it. It is a he. I just realized that this book has his signature and it is a 361/1200 copy. Oh... No wonder it cost me like $55.50 for a 70 pages book. But I managed to get 20% discount after some bargain. Oh. I am so happy with it. Btw, I just got this just because the painting style is really me. Yeah ... That is it. After that i went to Tecman (just next to Basheer) and unintentionally I remembered of a book titled Boy Meets Girl by Joshua Harris about a relationship that guided but God’s purpose. A very interesting book because I also believe that there is for a much greater purpose if God want me to live with someone. God’s purpose, of course! But I am sure, to love her, bless her, support her and make her life happy are his first purpose. Another thing is I bought a DVD titled Facing the Giants, a very nice movie about there is nothing impossible with God. But wait, it really much better than what I expected before and I really recommend you to watch it too!
I think I should end this post here to keep it simple and not out of topic. I pray God will shape me more, teach more and lead me more according to his will for his glory. I pray God will always be with her, make her stronger, more mature, and bless her abundantly. I pray God will make us more ready for his purposes in our life. Amen.
